Welcome to our consultation website, which aims to provide you with additional information about our current operations and proposals for our metal recycling plant in Avonmouth.
We are proposing to undertake some work on our current metal recycling site at Avonmouth in order to improve efficiency and make our site more sustainable. As part of these proposals we are planning to invest significantly in a range of modern equipment incorporating the latest technology, whilst reconfiguring the operation of some of the on-site facilities and updating our traffic management processes.
Our proposals will result in numerous benefits, including improved operational efficiency, noise and dust mitigation enhancements, traffic management improvements, a cleaner visual appearance and an increase in employment opportunities.
We are aiming to submit a planning application in the coming weeks to Bristol City Council and as we develop our proposals, we would like to understand the views of the local community.
We held a public consultation event at the following time and venue:
- Between 3pm and 8pm on Tuesday 28th November 2017
- At the Avonmouth Community Centre, 257 Avonmouth Road, Avonmouth Village, Bristol, BS11 9EN
